Storytelling

Elaine writes and perform monologues and short stories to a live audience as well as on the radio.  She is a regular performer at Story Friday, a storytelling event run in Bath by A Word in Your Ear and Kilter Theatre.

She performed three of her short stories at ‘Voices in the City’ in February 2015, a Bath Literature Festival spoken word event, and one of her stories was recorded for broadcast and featured in the Bath Fringe Festival 2015.

'Animal Magic' was written for a project commemorating the 100-year anniversary of the opening of the Bath War Hospital in 1916 and was broadcast weekly over a three-month period on Bath Radio.

Elaine regularly performs her work at private events.  You can hear live performances of her short stories at Story Friday at
